- Technical information needed for sign-in, secure requests, device-bound actions, and resolving service errors.
- Messages you send to support.
How information is used
We use this information to provide and synchronize your records, apply household permissions, verify subscription access, deliver account emails, carry out your data requests, keep the service secure, and respond to support questions.
Turtle Go does not scan your photo library. You select the files you want to add. The first release does not include advertising.
Household access and sharing
Household records are available according to current membership and permissions. Private health information requires separate permission.
You choose whether to publish an online sharing link. Review the content and recipients before sharing. Revoking a link prevents further access through that link; it cannot recall a copy someone has already downloaded or saved.
Memories and health information
Memories use eligible, confirmed ordinary care, growth, and life records. Private health observations, veterinarian notes, and help-package content are kept outside Memories generation and Shellmarks qualification.
The generation provider and its processing terms for the first release are: The release candidate uses the official DeepSeek API, with processing in China. It receives a bounded set of ordinary-record IDs and factual text options, including relevant dates and measurements, to choose an order. It does not receive your account email, private health notes, veterinarian materials, original photos or videos, or database credentials. DeepSeek applies its own platform terms and privacy policy to its processing. We have not obtained a contractual zero-retention or no-training commitment. Production generation is not enabled during this launch preview..
Service providers and storage
The first release's service providers, storage locations, and processing purposes are: Supabase provides accounts, the database, and private file storage in the selected Singapore project. DigitalOcean hosts file processing, permission checks, and sharing gateways in Singapore. Cloudflare provides DNS, the public website, and routing of support email; its network operates internationally. Resend delivers account confirmation and recovery emails. Google Gmail receives support mail and sends replies using our support address. Apple provides App Store payments and device-integrity services. Email, security, support, and platform information may be processed in other countries under these providers’ terms. Turtle Go does not include advertising or third-party behavioral analytics in this release..
Information may be processed outside your country. The final list above describes the services and locations used for the released version.
Retention and deletion
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your saved history. Access still depends on your current permissions.
Personal account deletion removes your sign-in information, private drafts, private health records, and personal uploaded media through the service's deletion process. Shared care history may remain in the household with your name replaced by Deleted member. Household-wide deletion requires the appropriate authority and completion of its separate review.
The first release's backup expiry and the retention periods for operational records, required transaction records, and minimum deletion markers are: Saved records remain while needed to provide your account and the history your household is entitled to retain, until the applicable deletion process is completed. Deletion immediately removes eligible content from access; existing file-cleanup jobs remove original files and derivatives and retry failures. Supabase Pro keeps a rolling seven-day database-backup window; those backups do not contain uploaded file bytes. This release does not add a separate media-backup service. The operating rules expire manual change backups after seven days, retain content-free service logs for at most fourteen days, and remove support conversations ninety days after a case is resolved, unless an identified incident or legal preservation requirement applies. Minimum identifiers and suppression or revocation markers remain while needed to prevent deleted records or revoked links from returning through retries or restoration. Transaction and data-request records remain only while needed to verify access, complete a request, or comply with an identified legal obligation..
Your choices and requests
Use Privacy & data in the App to review eligible access, export, and deletion actions. Exporting household information requires the appropriate household role. Memories content is a separate export choice; permission to export a reference does not automatically grant permission to obtain the underlying original file.
You can correct supported records in the App and revoke sharing links. You may also contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion, consent, or a privacy concern. We may verify your identity and the scope you are entitled to access. We will handle requests according to applicable law.
Security
Turtle Go uses authentication, current household permissions, and separate controls for private health materials. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password and account links private.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain consent before using information for a materially different purpose.
